Here’s exactly how to film by yourself in-store.
1. Clean your phone's lens. This is important to get a clear shot.
2. Lean your phone up against something on an eye level or waist level shelf opposite your object.
3. Press record and grab your item. Show it to the camera and take it out of the frame.
This technique is great if you are showing a heavier object that you can’t pick up with one hand or is larger.
If you’re showcasing a lighter or small object, you can hold your phone horizontally, and keep it closer to your face. This is giving the viewer your point of view, engaging them with the shot.
It’s also best practice to take a few aisle pans of your location that we could use for thumbnails or even intro clips.
